Meet Sonali and Kenan
Sonali, an Indian-British bride, and Kenan, a Turkish groom, first met at work. Their love story began like many great office romances—young, innocent, and full of serendipitous moments. What started with cozy Italian dinners evolved into something deeply meaningful. Kenan’s at-home proposal, followed by dinner at their favorite Italian restaurant, was a quiet nod to their intimate beginnings. A shared love for Pistachio Tiramisu became symbolic of their relationship—so much so that Kenan learned to make it just for her.
Haldi – “You’re My Lobster”
The Haldi celebration featured a quirky twist on Phoebe Buffay’s lobster line with vibrant Maltese summer energy, celebrating Sonali and Kenan’s playful side.

The Wedding – Floral Dreams by the Sea
In a tranquil garden setting near the sea, the couple exchanged vows on a floral mandap, dressed in Manish Malhotra couture. Unique touches like Mdina glass elements made the decor deeply rooted in Malta’s essence.
Reception – Baroque & Dramatic
A show-stopping reception styled after the opulence of baroque Europe and the romance of Phantom of the Opera, set dramatically against the Grand Harbour at sunset.
About The Wedding
The couple’s mutual appreciation for history, stunning views, and Mediterranean cuisine made Malta an easy decision. Its medieval charm, especially admired by Kenan, added a fairytale layer to their special day.
“After months of planning and coordinating, I was so excited to see everything come together. Our bond had started simple and romantic , he liked my smile, I liked his eyes, and we shared a collective sense of humour. We just knew it was meant to happen, and I couldn’t have been happier as we finally tied the knot,” shared Sonali.
