Mumbai: Cricket sensation Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, is set to marry Saaniya Chandhok, granddaughter of industrialist Ravi Ghai, reportedly in March.
Ahead of the wedding, Sachin Tendulkar personally invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the intimate Mumbai ceremony.
According to media reports, Arjun and Saaniya have fixed their wedding date for March this year. While the official wedding card and further details are yet to be revealed, the couple got engaged in August last year.
“We were honoured to invite Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji to Arjun and Saaniya’s wedding. Thank you, Modi ji, for your blessings and thoughtful advice for the young couple,” Sachin Tendulkar wrote in an Instagram post, sharing two photos from the moment he extended the invitation.
Sachin was accompanied by his wife Anjali, daughter Sara, son Arjun, and future daughter-in-law Saaniya when he met PM Modi. In one of the photos, the couple, Arjun and Saaniya, posed alongside the Prime Minister.

Who is Saaniya Chandhok?
Saaniya Chandhok is the granddaughter of businessman Ravi Ghai, whose family runs India’s Graviss Group, with interests in food and hospitality. The family owns the InterContinental Hotel in Mumbai and the ice cream brand Brooklyn Creamery, and manages Baskin Robbins’ operations in India. Saaniya is also an entrepreneur herself, having launched Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP in 2022, a Mumbai-based pet grooming and care business.
