Here’s a Roka that was effortlessly fun and, of course, fabulous! Influencer Mehal Kejriwal’s sister, Disha, celebrated her Roka in Ahmedabad, and it turned into a stunning two-day celebration. The bride, in her ivory lehenga, looked absolutely radiant, and everyone around her was equally stunning!

“So he was a professional golfer and I shifted to Ahmedabad (where he resides) to get trained under the top coach who was in Ahemdabad. On day one, my dad and I saw all the golfers play and Anshul was also playing. After talking to all, Dad said I want you to be friends with this guy since he is sweet and nice. Anshul and I exchanged numbers. The next day he offered to pick me up to go to the golf course. He helped me find a house and every day we messaged. From becoming best friends he confessed he started liking me. He used to cook for me, take me to eat my favorite food, take me shopping etc!”, the bride-to-be tells us.

About The Roka
Our engagement took place in November 25, 2024. We both have loved cozy wedding feels. Where more than the decor, it’s the warmth among people present that should make it memorable. I personally love an English looking style wedding, with lots of pastels, flowers, a lake. With a scenic view. And Anshul likes what I like?
Decor for our roka was minimal, it was subtle, it was earthy, and very classy. For my roka I wore a Sabyasachi white lehenga. It was stunning. It was simple and elegant yet stood out from the regular choices. Anshul wore a Qbik dark blue gun-metal kurta. I initally wore gold jhumkas which had a mandir set up in the inner part of the jhumka. However my mom in law made me wear a beautfiul polki long neckpiece with earings after the roka ceremony.

The roka venue was Kalhaar Blues and Greens in Ahmedabad. It was the golf course where we both met! We have an emotional attachment to that place and thats why wanted to start our function from there.

We had two photographer teams. Yogi’s team from Baroda! We had heard about him from previous weddings and were happy with his team. And the second team was from Bangalore, Candid Theory. They are very familiar to us and they work with my sister (she is an influencer) so they have been a part of most of our family functions and a very comfortable and happy with them! Their energy and presence is unmatched.
