The video was shared on Instagram by a user identified as Annaika Ahuja. In the video, it can be seen that a woman is watching the wedding procession on FaceTime. A text overlay on the video reads, “Forced to watch my best friend’s wedding on FaceTime because our countries cannot get along.” The video was captioned, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan, taaron ke neeche se Pakistan pohoncha do? ‘So close yet so far’ never felt more real, watching my sister become a wife while my heart sits outside my body, across the border. Kabhi nazar na lage, here’s to my Mannu & Jiju living with everlasting love, abundance, and blessings.”

After the video went viral, many users shared their varied reactions. One user wrote, “This caption is kinda deep, but this video is so wholesome, and you both represent everything that’s right about the next generations. You kids are alright, you know… proud of you both.” Another user remarked, “If Pakistan and India put their heads and resources together again, they could be the world’s next superpower next to China. Sending love to our brothers and sisters in India. Remember, we were all one until 1947 because a division was created between us, but hearts cannot be divided forever. United we rise, divided we fall.” One more user, empathising with the situation, wrote, “Can’t imagine. I would want to jump out of the screen so bad. Props to the person holding the phone the whole time.”
