“We met in Miami during our intern year of residency through a mutual friend who was visiting both of us while he was on vacation and I was doing my residency. I remember the week before I had gone to pray at the gurudawara to discover true love. Both of us were not expecting to meet the love of our life that night but the connection was there instantly, my dog loved him, I introduced him to my best friend, and we started dating the same week. We were long distance for 2 years and flying to each other almost every weekend. I remember one Christmas flight we ended up getting a $5k voucher from jet blue that carried our flight payments until he moved to Florida. We compliment each other so well and having gone through residency together and seeing the growth in each other as partners and as physicians has been one of the most beautiful parts of this journey”, the bride tells us.

About The Wedding
Our wedding took place on December 21, 2024. Our wedding was a family vision we crafted all together built upon the love that my husband and I had for each other. I think for most of us, when you’re so deep in love, a wedding is for the memory, the feelings, and not the specific things. For both of us, we never thought about what our wedding would be like; we just knew we wanted to be married.
And through this came the greatest blessing as our wedding is now tied to this beautiful memory developed by the power of our family and my new new parents who envisioned, put in the dedication and hard work, and who gave us the most surreal memory of our life; something we could never dream of; and we are beyond grateful for this.
