Navendu and Garima (BCCL/ Aditya Yadav)
A private lawn shimmered with lights, celebrating the newly married couple, Navendu and Garima, at their reception party. The gala was attended by people from many walks of life, including several guests from the United Kingdom, as Navendu is a Member of Parliament (MP) in the UK, representing Stockport in Greater Manchester.

The band at the wedding featured a beatboxer and a violinist, adding a unique charm to the celebration. The violinist played beautifully as the bride and groom entered in stunning attire.

“Everything was planned so that our friends from the UK could truly experience the essence of an Indian wedding,” said Mamit, a close friend of Navendu’s who flew in especially for the occasion. He added, “Even after living abroad for 25 years, Navendu never let go of his roots—he wanted everyone here to feel the magic of our traditions, from the jaimala to the final pheras. Watching our guests taste kulfi for the first time and join in the dandiya raas was truly unforgettable.”— Manas Mishra
