Moksha occupies a commanding perch in Himachal’s Shivalik ranges, where elevation does much of the work in setting the stage. Views stretch across valleys and forested slopes, and nearly every public space at the resort is designed to acknowledge that scale. Sixty four suites make it one of the few mountain destinations equipped to host large, multi-day weddings without logistical strain, with a capacity of hosting 500 to 700 guests in outdoor settings and floating arrangements. But space also takes other forms here: amid architecture inspired by contemporary Himalayan design, a play of stone and wood surfaces, restrained palettes and expansive glazing keeps interiors visually open in a way that complements the peaceful Himalayan views.

Set in a quiet residential pocket near the ancient chinars of Harwan, Nadis is a compact, consciously designed estate where form shapes the experience. Designed by its founder, textile designer and photographer Yaser Shaw, the building appears unassuming at the outset, almost like a neatly stacked, three-tier structure. But indoors, it opens into warm, climate-responsive interiors rooted in Kashmiri vernacular traditions. Khatamband wood ceilings and handmade local tiles with walnut furnishings anchor the spaces, while sun-facing windows and underfloor heating reflect a low-impact approach. The 18 rooms can host about 50 guests, making it well suited to intimate mountain weddings. Celebrations unfold across the lobby, tea house, dining area and garden, allowing gatherings to feel informal and personal.
