A group of mischievous friends left the groom shocked with funny remarks during the traditional wedding rituals.

What’s a life without friends who don’t constantly pull your leg, and what is an Indian wedding without its share of chaotic and funny scenes? An Indian man found both on his big day recently as his friends created hysterical scenes at the site of his wedding rituals.

In a video shared online, one can see this Indian groom sitting with his bride for the traditional Hindu marriage pheras when one of his mischievous friends started throwing humorous remarks his way. From requesting the bride to make sure he did all the household chores to singing playful songs. It all happened in the backdrop while the rituals were going on.

Friends Cause Hysterical Scenes During Wedding

This notorious friend of the groom was joined in the act by his two female friends as they started shouting all sorts of funny things. At one point, they raised a slogan, saying, “bhabhi tum kapde, bartan, sab dhulwayo hum tumhare saath hain (please make sure he does all the chores, we are with you).” Later on, they quipped about what the couple may tell each other privately in a musical way.

As the funny jibes continued and the couple got distracted from the rituals, one could see the priest getting slightly irritated and asking the bride and the groom, “mere pe focus pura haan (please keep your attention on me)”, while he recited the mantras. An elderly couple at the site, presumably the bride’s parents, were also observed smiling at the groom’s friends and their act.

‘Even Uncle Aunty Couldn’t Hide Their Laughter’

As the video of these friends taking a mickey out of the groom went viral, online users joined in the fun and came up with a series of hilarious remarks themselves.

“Bechare uncle aunty bhi hasi nahi rok pa rahe (poor uncle and aunty, even they couldn’t hide their laughter),” commented a person.

Someone quipped, “Mujhe to laga abhi pandit ji uthke bolenge me nahi karwa raha shadi tum log karlo pehele (I thought the priest would give up and go away, saying you guys do your thing first).”

“Ese dost kha se order krne pdenge? (where do I order such friends from?),” commented a person.

A lot of other social media users tagged their relatives and friends, perhaps funnily warning them to be prepared for similar scenes at their wedding in the near future.
