Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha recently tied the knot in Udaipur in the presence of their close friends and family members. Parineeti has been sharing unseen photos and videos from the pre-wedding and wedding ceremonies on social media and now, her stylists have shared that Parineeti was very clear about how she wanted to look at her wedding. They also opened up about the comparisons with Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani’s wedding and how every bride has her own aesthetic. Stylists Nidhi Agarwal and Shraddha Lakhani said that Parineeti told them early on that she wanted to be comfortable at her wedding.

“Don’t treat me like a heroine,” she told them and even said that she did not want to wear heels to any of her functions. In fact, she wanted to wear flats, and was comfortable with the idea of wearing sneakers as well. The stylists shared that all of Parineeti’s footwear in her wedding functions had the couple’s initials on them. Her stylists recalled Parineeti’s brief and shared with ETimes, “It’s okay if I look like a bridesmaid and not the bride.”

Nidhi and Shraddha shared that her mehendi was minimalistic as she wanted to keep it very classy. With the wedding outfit, the stylists explained that it was gold, not ivory and described Parineeti’s aesthetic as “minimal, classy, clean.”

Nidhi shared that she found the comparisons with Kiara very “unfair.” She said that every bride has her idea of her wedding day, and no one is trying to copy anyone else. She added, “She sung her own song. Who has done this before?” She added, “I think Parineeti was a really cool bride.”

Previously, Manish Malhotra, who designed Parineeti’s outfit, shared details of her kaleeras and other elements that completed Parineeti’s outfit. He wrote about adding her grandmother’s keychain to the outfit and mentioned, “She wanted to pay a heartfelt tribute to her nani, who used to wear the same challa in her saree with the keys, a symbol of being the lady of the house. For Parineeti, the sound of the challa when her nani walked around the house, was a melody of strength and grace. And that’s when I knew we HAD to add that piece of legacy to her lehenga.”
