“Our collection achieves the right balance between tailoring and modernism while adhering to the universal norms of elegance; it is a monument to modest and ageless refinement; and it is the pinnacle of our sartorial knowledge,” said Corneliani’s business head at OSL Luxury Collections Private Limited Salesh Grover in an email interaction with FashionNetwork.com

The formal wear line features a selection of tuxedos, suits, morning coats, and dinner jackets in classic western wear hues of black, white, and navy. The collection has launched at Corneliani’s boutique in luxury mall DLF Emporio in New Delhi’s Vasant Kunj neighbourhood as well as on the brand’s direct to customer e-commerce store and multi-brand platform Tata Cliq Luxury.

Corneliani was established by Alfredo Corneliani in the 1930s in Italy as a manufacturer of coats and raincoats. After taking a break during the second world war, the brand later restarted and became known for its men’s suits and sports coats.  Today, Corneliani retails its collections in over 70 countries and territories worldwide. Global manager of alternative investment products Investcorp acquired 55% of the Corneliani business in 2016.
