The sanctity of Egypt’s ancient pharaoh’s tombs, steeped in historical significance, was recently compromised by the actions of an Indian couple, sparking widespread condemnation on social media.
Indian billionaire Ankar Jain and his bride chose the backdrop of the Pharaohs’ tombs, nestled behind the majestic pyramids, to stage their wedding ceremony. Ankar, aiming to create a memorable and surprising moment for his former WWF wrestler wife, Erica Hammond, opted for this iconic location.
The grandeur of the event did not come cheap, with reports from Weed World magazine indicating a staggering expenditure of over 1.5 million dollars, equivalent to more than 41 billion Pakistani rupees. Sharing snapshots of the ceremony on Instagram, Ankar Jain expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the special occasion.
While the couple viewed the wedding shoot near the Pharaoh’s tombs as a highlight of their lives, their actions during the shoot have come under intense scrutiny and criticism from social media users. Many were taken aback by the choice of a desert tourist spot for the wedding shoot, and the couple’s inappropriate behavior has triggered a wave of indignation and outrage among consumers and observers alike.
