Rio and Kate Ferdinand were among the stars who dressed to impress in traditional Indian wedding outfits as they attended billionaire Umar Kamani and Nada Adelle’s wedding in France on Saturday.
The couple have been staying at the Grand Allée for the lavish star-studded £20million four-day wedding celebrations, with guests also including Naomi Campbell and Ryan Thomas and his fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh, being wowed by a performance on Ronan Keating during the evening.
Kate, 32, took to Instagram to show off her sensational figure in the glamorous pink Lehenga set which comprised of a backless crop top and a full beaded matching skirt.
The former TOWIE star draped a pink semi-sheer wrap over her arms and styled her long blonde tresses in a neat bun.
While Rio, 45, looked smart in all white which he teamed with leather shoes and a pair of sunglasses.
Elsewhere former TOWIE star Lucy, 32, showed off her abs in a traditional black outfit while model Naomi, 53, looked nothing short of sensational in a purple feathered gown
Fashion brand CEO Umar, 36, and his bride Nada, 31, tied the knot in two ceremonies in the South of France – after a fairytale proposal in August 2021.
The wedding celebrations kicked off on Thursday with an incredible white party before the couple tied the knot in an extravagant black tie ceremony on Friday.
On Saturday, Umar and Nada celebrated once again with a traditional Indian ceremony before they treated guests to a relaxed barbeque on Sunday to finish off the four day extravaganza.
During the celebrations Roman was seen performing his 1999 hit, When You Say Nothing At All, for the newlyweds and guests.
Later in the day, the couple were seen taking to the stage to dance while Jay Sean performed his hit track, Down.
Kate and Rio were joined over the weekend by fellow A-lister guests including Naomi Campbell, Anthony Joshua, Lucy Mecklenburgh, Ryan Thomas and Steven Bartlett.
Umar’s close friend, ex Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas served as one of his Best Men.
Ryan’s partner former TOWIE star Lucy looked incredible as she took to Instagram to show off her glamorous outfit for the Indian inspired nuptials.
She looked amazing in a black patterned crop top and matching full skirt as she posed for photos.
Other guests included actor Tessa Thompson, comedian Russell Peters, singer Christina Milian, Arabia editor-in-chief Manuel Arnaut, and Red Sea Film Festival Foundation CEO Mohammed Al Turki.
For Friday’s ceremony Nada looked radiant in a custom Maria Grazia Chiuri-designed Dior gown which boasted an impressive train and simple capped sleeves.
Fast fashion boss Umar looked incredibly dapper as he waited under a seaside gazebo in a classic Tom Ford tuxedo.
They were treated to musical performances from Mariah Carey, Ronan Keating and Jay Sean.
Andrea Bocelli also added to the romantic ambience as he performed one of his greatest songs ‘The Prayer’ for Nada’s walk down the aisle as a full orchestra joined him.
In an exclusive interview with Vogue Arabia, the newlyweds revealed their first meeting at the altar on Friday was among the most special moments of the weekend.
Nada shared: ‘It’s something every little girl dreams about, but to do it in such style, in such beautiful surroundings – and of course to the man of my dreams! – was really a fairytale.’
Umar added: ‘What can I say? I was speechless when I saw Nada in that dress. It was the most emotional moment.’
The couple hired event planners Banana Split to bring their dream venue to life, fusing a western style white wedding, and an Indian wedding.
After the romantic al fresco ceremony, guests enjoyed an elegant old-fashioned black-tie dinner before a late night afterparty, which included a special surprise performance from music icon Mariah .
The singer, 55, looked nothing short of sensational as she cut an elegant figure in a semi-sheer Dior gown.
During the performance, the singer had all of the guests on their feet as she sang her heart out to some of her biggest hits.
Umar’s close pal, ex-Coronation Street actor Richard Fleeshman rounded out the musical acts as he performed Moon Dance at Friday’s reception.
On Saturday the couple celebrated again with Indian nuptials, as guests shared a glimpse of the couple in traditional white embellished outfits with garlands around their necks.
It comes after Umar popped the question in Côte d’Azur in 2021, which inevitably made choosing the wedding location a straightforward task for Nada.
The breathtaking proposal came after a whirlwind romance for Umar and Nadia, who only stepped out publicly together for the first time in March 2020.
